FOUND FUNCTIONS: New York photographer, Nikki Graziano, takes pictures of natural settings and finds functions within the compositional elements. Very nice set. via Wired.
OF HOOPTYS AND HOVERCRAFTS: El-P posted on the Def Jux website today that he is shutting it down as a traditional record label. So much good came out of those guys over the past 10 years.
SUCKS: The Market Street Pearl is where I go to get art supplies. The employees are dicks and the products are not always the cheapest, but there is always parking in the Tenderloin around the time I get off work. It’s shitty that they are shutting down.

NIKE X SKATE MENTAL: Late on this Skate Mental x Nike microsite that was put up in December. The video and pic galleries are worth a look.
FLORA GRUBB GARDENS: Checked out Flora Grubb Gardens for the first time over the weekend. Fucking loved it. There is coffee on site and the vertical succulent panels look so good in person. More photos via a Flickr search.

EMIL KOZAK UPDATE: It looks like Emil Kozak updated the work on his site. It includes some solid work for Nike and Salomon. The F/W lookbook is the highlight. He also added a photo blog.

MANY ARTISTS THAT DO ONE THING: A new portfolio from Mawdot. Good stuff all around. My highlights include this illustration set and this awesome project which involves creating art while on the can (note that the individual project links are iframe specific).
