SIXSTAIR AND THE GONZ: Epicly Trife (newly redesigned by the way) posted yesterday about sixstair.com, a site that encompasses the work of Rick Charnoski and Buddy Nichols. This Gonz short from Deathbowl to Downtown pretty much made my day.
JONATHAN BOULET: The music video for the Jonathan Boulet song A Community Service Announcement is very, very nice. via the new Kanye West blog which I also think is very, very nice.
DBA PRODUCTS: A great looking biodegradable pen from DBA Products. These notebooks are also quality. Great site all around. via Selectism.
THE RIDE: Vice Films is premiering a film on the PBR at SXSW. The site’s photo gallery is definitely worth a look. I will spare you my background in rodeo culture but let me just say that I knew Lane Frost before I knew Luke Perry. Mini doc on my little brother’s team roping run at the Cow Palace forthcoming.

MATT CHEN AT LAKE GALLERY: Go to Lake Gallery on Divis tonight. Matt Chen is showing and it’s going to be dope. I can’t find any of Matt’s work online to prove how dope, but he’s studio mates with my boys Tim and Ryan and I have seen the shit in person many, many times and you trust me, right? And run-on sentences.
HUNTER S. THOMPSON’S JVC: For about 10min yesterday I was convinced that the internal speakers on my iMac were fucked. I was as over it as Hunter was over his DVD player. As it turns out they (my speakers) were not (broken) and I am a moron (yes, I actually have a degree in EE). I’ll leave it at that.
