INTRODUCTION: Volts, Amps, and Ohms is a hyperlink catalog actively updated by me, Dusty Mendes.  I am the co-founder of the San Francisco based design firm Onethousandohms™.  The purpose of this site is to help me remember some of the noteworthy things I have viewed on the web.  Items posted will include art, design, film, music, science and technology, politics, and sports, mainly baseball, sorry Tim. Volts, Amps, and Ohms is a transition from my first blogging experiment, The Breadboard, which I started two years ago and frankly got sick of looking at.

A SHORT BIT ABOUT MYSELF:  I was raised in Dos Palos, CA. I have a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of San Diego. And I swear by the following: Descendents, tortillas from Tommy’s Tex-Mex, “Chico” Lind, pre-1973 Mercedes Benz, California, and the work ethic of my parents.
